Event Details

Date: Friday, 6th November 2026

Time: 8pm

Location: Portumna GAA Clubhouse

Why Your Attendance Matters

This year’s AGM is particularly important as we have a number of key Officer and Executive Committee positions to fill for the 2027 season.

Portumna Camogie Club depends entirely on the generosity and dedication of volunteers. From our youngest academy players taking their first steps on the pitch to our adult teams, every single player relies on a committee working behind the scenes. To keep our club growing and thriving, we urgently need new voices and extra hands to share the workload.

“Our AGM is a great opportunity to get involved and help our club grow. All clubs depend on volunteers, and ours is no different. Every contribution – big or small – helps and is deeply appreciated. Bringing new people in keeps things fresh and pushes us forward. If you want to help or get involved in any capacity, we strongly encourage you to step forward.”

– Shane Madden, Club Chairperson

No Experience Needed – Just Passion!

You do not need prior committee experience to make a difference. Whether you can offer organisational skills, coaching support, fundraising ideas, or simply a helping hand on match days, there is a place for you.

Without volunteers and a functioning committee, there simply can be no functioning club.

Key deadlines and How to Get Involved

We encourage every parent, player and community member to consider stepping up for 2027.
